FAQs

Please read carefully before making a booking.

  • • Click here to learn how to book, and I will reply within 5 days.

    • Once the appointment and time is agreed upon, please have your £100 deposit ready to secure your slot immediately.

    • I cannot reserve slots without a deposit.

  • • Flashes are pre-drawn designs, almost like a restaurant menu, that you may pick from. My flashes are all repeatable, normally until I get bored.

    • I also take on limited custom designs, where you can propose your vision to me. They are more time and labour-intensive, hence I only select a few per month that most interest me.

  • • Yes, I send the design 1-4 days prior. Please make sure to be responsive within this time so there is ample time to review and tweak if needed.

    • I will only start working on a design once a deposit has been made.

    • Customs require a little trust, flexibility, and creative freedom from the artist. After all, they are completely made for you and no one else!

  • • Yes. This will be classed as a custom tattoo.

    • Note that I will only cover up using black ink (and potentially blue ink)

    • Not all tattoos will be suitable for cover-up, especially if they are very dark and blown out. In which case, I may advise getting a few sessions of laser removal beforehand.

  • • Please use a ruler to measure (cm or in) the exact area you’d like to be tattooed.

    • While I understand this can be difficult to visualise or gauge, it is important for me to know how much time to set aside for your tattoo. A few cm can make a big difference in tattoo time, and therefore the cost.

    • It is also helpful to print out my flash at home, and try different sizes for yourself.

    • Avoid the words “small/medium/large” tattoo as this is very vague.

  • • I don’t actively offer weekends slots, as I need my own weekend rest time too!

    • Sometimes I will spontaneously open a weekend slot if I feel like it - this will be posted on my Instagram stories.

  • • Ribs are one of the more notoriously painful spots to tattoo.

    • I only tattoo ribs if you’ve had past experience and have been okay with it.

    • I charge a little extra for rib placements, since it’s trickier for me to tattoo.

  • • Inflammatory reactions can appear with any colour of ink, though mostly red ink is the biggest culprit. Symptoms include itchy, sensitive skin, redness and swelling. If this happens, it is advised to see a doctor immediately if you are experiencing a reaction.

    • If you have the gene for psoriasis, red ink might trigger the condition or cause a flare.

If you’ve never had a red ink tattoo, the only thing I can do if offer patch tests upon request. This consists of applying a small amount of ink in a hidden area, where it will be checked if any adverse reaction is generated in the short term.

  • • Red ink can lose vibrancy and fade more quickly than black or dark-coloured inks, requiring touch-ups more frequently.

I offer free touch-ups within 1 year of your tattoo appointment.

  • • Flashes start from £160, and customs start from £300. I will always provide a quote beforehand, given that your enquiry is complete with all the needed details.

    • A minimum deposit of £100 is required for any tattoo.

    • If you have a budget, please state this in your enquiry. It is possible for me to simplify your desired design to accommodate (e.g. black ink instead of colour, less shading, make it smaller).

    • Please do not haggle for a tattoo.

Cancellations, rescheduling, & no-show policies

  • If you reschedule an appointment with more than 5 days notice, the deposit paid can be transferred to a future appointment.

  • If you cancel your appointment altogether, your deposit will not be refunded.

Late arrival or no-shows

  • If I wait longer than 15 minutes, I will charge a late fee of £1/minute thereafter.
